This role is responsible for leading transition governance, managing stakeholder alignment, mitigating project risks, and holding both external agency leads and internal teams accountable to key milestones.**Responsibilities:*** Transition Governance & Strategy: Oversee the end-to-end execution of the transition playbook and master timeline, ensuring alignment across executive leadership, internal marketing leads, and agency leads.* Scope & Milestone Management: Manage project scope alignment, critical path milestones (e.g., tech & tool access, historical data extraction/consolidation), and staggered launch schedules.* Stakeholder & Agency Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and the incoming media agency* Meetings: Lead and moderate meetings between internal and agency teams including work sessions and status updates* Risk Management & KBR Continuity: Proactively identify risk factors, establish contingency plans, and safeguard continuous campaign operations* Process & Change Management: Drive operational change management, establish RACI frameworks, and streamline handoff workflows between internal teams and agency hubs.* Project or program management experience collaborating across broad groups of cross-functional stakeholders* Attention to detail and ability to keep projects or programs on track and problem solve in real-time* Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication across varying functional groups and levels* Strong facilitation skills, able to collaborate, plan, execute and follow-up on meetings at the team level* Organized and able to self-manage details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong and accurate work* Hands-on coaching expertise to mentor the Senior Associate and streamline day-to-day transition activities**Basic Qualifications:*** Bachelorโ€™s Degree* 6+ years of project management or program management experience* 3+ years of project management experience in digital media, marketing operations, or agency account management.* Strong leadership, senior stakeholder management, negotiation, and risk mitigation skills.* Proficiency with Project Management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Workfront)* Proficiency in Google Suite* Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.**Preferred Qualifications:*** PMP (Project Management Professional) certification* 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience* 3+ years of experience leading projects across cross-functional teams within an organization* Experience leading large-scale agency transitions, onboarding, or complex vendor integrations.* Understanding of digital performance marketing, media planning/buying operations, and adtech/analytics infrastructure.* Experience using WorkfrontEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
