Overview

As a Senior Advertising Account Manager, you will serve as the strategic lead and primary advisor for a portfolio of Rithum's enterprise and strategic advertising clients. Building on deep expertise in digital advertising and retail media, you will lead the development and execution of sophisticated media strategies that align to client business goals and performance objectives. You will partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders-including Client Success, Technical Account Management, and Product-to ensure seamless execution and long-term success. This role requires strategic thinking, expert-level platform knowledge, and the ability to influence both client stakeholders and internal teams to drive measurable outcomes and scalable growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic advertising lead across a portfolio of high-value enterprise and strategic clients, driving planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns across digital marketing and retail media platforms.
  • Lead discovery and strategic planning sessions to define media strategies that align with client objectives, platform capabilities, and channel best practices.
  • Translate business goals into comprehensive media plans, overseeing execution and optimization across budgets, bids, audiences, and creatives.
  • Provide advanced performance analysis and insights to guide campaign strategy and investment decisions, incorporating attribution models, pacing, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Cultivate strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Success Managers, TAMs, and Product teams to align execution and product feedback to client goals and evolving needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Rithum's media products and tooling, educating clients on new features, platform enhancements, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to internal enablement by mentoring Advertising Account Managers, sharing best practices, and improving team-wide executional consistency.
  • Stay abreast of emerging media channels, platform updates, and advertising trends to inform forward-looking strategies.

Qualifications 

Minimum Qualifications  

  • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising, media buying, or ecommerce marketing, with proven success managing enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic advertising plans that drive performance and align with client business objectives.
  • Hands-on experience with major platforms such as Amazon Advertising, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Walmart Connect.
  • Strong analytical capabilities; experience conducting in depth analysis and presenting insights to clients and teams using dashboard and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Looker, Power BI)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex advertising concepts into clear guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and forecast advertising budgets, making data driven decisions to maximize efficiency and achieve performance targets across campaigns.
  • Strong AI fluency, with experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows and processes to drive efficiency, enhance analysis, and scale impact.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, media buying, or ecommerce marketing, with proven success managing enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • Experience in a SaaS, agency, or eCommerce technology company.
  • Familiarity with retail media networks, digital merchandising, and performance attribution methodologies.
  • Previous experience mentoring or coaching peers or junior team members.

For this position, the expected base pay range is: $80,000-$120,000 per year. 

This range represents the base pay for the role across all U.S. locations and is determined based on market data, internal equity, and experience. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, skills, and relevant experience.In addition to base pay, we offer a discretionary bonus for non-sales roles, a comprehensive benefits package, and, where applicable, sales incentives.

For this position, the expected discretionary bonus is 10% of the annual base salary.
