MANTECH seeks a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Staffing Manager to join our team in the Herndon, VA. In this role, you will drive end-to-end workforce operations, leading staffing, onboarding, offboarding, and resource management across a large-scale IT contract. You will connect program leadership and key business partners to ensure the right talent is in the right place at the right time to drive mission success.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage end-to-end program resource and staffing operations for MANTECH and subcontractor partners, including position requirements, candidate qualification validation, job postings, labor category alignment, staffing actions, subcontractor coordination, and tracking positions from identification through closure.
  • Own the program interview process, including scheduling, coordinating, and attending all candidate interviews while serving as the primary facilitator between candidates, Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition, and program leadership.
  • Lead and facilitate the program's Day One onboarding experience for all MANTECH new hires, coordinating across Program Leadership, Talent Acquisition, Corporate Security, IT, Hiring Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure employees are processed, oriented, equipped, and prepared to support the mission.
  • Manage end-to-end employee onboarding, transitions, and offboarding for MANTECH and subcontractor personnel, including security requirements, account provisioning, system/application access, equipment coordination, IT service tickets, access termination, out-processing, and required documentation.
  • Serve as the program's primary resource management POC and maintain the master staffing database, metrics, trackers, and collaboration sites, while providing reporting and resource updates to program leadership and supporting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc PMO briefings.
  • Drive continuous improvement across resource management and workforce operations, identifying process gaps, developing streamlined solutions, and partnering with program leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve staffing efficiency, employee experience, and overall program execution.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support to the PMO as needed, including leadership action tracking, meeting coordination, documentation, special projects, and other program priorities.
  • Travel locally between customer buildings and support temporary assignments as required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with 11+ years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting resource management, staffing, workforce planning, or program operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across diverse stakeholders, and work independently.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting staffing, onboarding, personnel actions, or workforce operations within a large-scale government contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the customer's organizational structure, mission, operational environment, and business processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting large-scale government programs within a cleared environment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other enterprise workflow, ticketing, and collaboration platforms.
  • Professional certification in project management, resource management, IT service management, or a related discipline.

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain stationary up to 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

The projected compensation range for this position is $119,900.00-$199,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
