Job description

Description This position is open until filled. Applications are being reviewed as they are received. Under the direction of the Facility Operations Supervisor, the Facility Coordinator manages recreation facilities and activities and provides great customer service while on duty.

SUPERVISION SUPERVISION: This position reports to the Facility Operations Supervisor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF WORK Greets and assist renters and caterer needs with reservations at the Everal Barn and Westerville Community Center Prepares rooms for meetings, classes, programs and reservations which includes the set up and tear down of (lifting) tables and chairs. Must work non-traditional hours including evenings, after-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Maintains cleanliness of the facility during reservations, classes, and programs. Including, but not limited to, restrooms, outdoor areas, and trash disposal. Acting as an information source on various matters, keeping abreast with latest developments and changes within the Community Center/Everal Barn.

Provide assistance to Facility Operations Supervisor and customers with Community Center/Everal Barn day of reservation contracts and facility layouts Exercise initiative and professional judgment in the performance of duties Anticipating and addressing guests' needs and resolving their problems and complaints appropriately, calmly and in a timely manner. Acquire, through provided training, a working knowledge of RecTrac Provides tours of recreation facilities and reservation space (Community Center/Everal Barn) Handles customer questions, concerns and complaints in person and on the telephone. Responsible for safety action during emergency situations Will receive training in other areas of the operation including gymnasium, fitness room, climbing wall, adventure fitness.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF WORK Facility Coordinator Position should be flexible to work shifts that are late evening, weekends and holidays. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships . Have good problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Able to work without direct supervision.
