Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job description:

Advanced Technology Recycling (ATR) is a full-service commercial electronic recycling company and offers a wide range of services and logistics options to its customers.

Basic Function:

Working under minimal supervision, the Commercial Custodian is responsible for performing a range of duties to maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

o Utilize the Advanced Technology Recycling customized commercial cleaning checklist to perform all tasks to the standards established.

o Common tasks include:

  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and/or hand scrub floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.
  • Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. in restrooms, break rooms and/or kitchenettes
  • Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and kitchen as well as empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas
  • Wipe down walls and woodwork, doorknobs, light switches etc.
  • Monitors/maintains cleaning products inventory; requests needs through supervisor/manager
  • Minor maintenance tasks (i.e., Changing light bulbs; fixing/repairing broken toilet seats and other dispensers, unclogging toilets/sinks/drains, etc.)
  • Perform additional cleaning or custodial duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

HS Degree or Equivalent preferred

2 years' experience in industrial/commercial office warehouse cleaning

Qualifications:

Ability to work without direct supervision

Excellent organization and housekeeping skills

Understanding of cleaning solutions and their applications

Excellent communication skills

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical demands include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, push and pull cleaning cart and vacuum

Other Requirements:

Punctual and dependable attendance

Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and reach.

Successful candidate must be willing to agree and hold in confidence, all applicable Data and Trade information for our list of clients, and sign a Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreement stating as such.
