MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Jessup, MD. This is a Hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support MANTECH's Digital Practice focused on the Intel Sector. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with customer and internal stakeholders to design, architect, and implement secure, scalable solutions that advance mission outcomes. The ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, understands federal acquisition environments, and thrives in high-trust, classified settings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a Digital technical advisor to the Intel Sector focused on the MPO customer
  • Translate mission requirements into scalable, compliant technical architectures and solutions
  • Meet with Intel customers to understand their pain points and requirements
  • Align solutions with agency modernization priorities (e.g., cloud adoption, zero trust, data strategy).
  • Architect secure, compliant solutions across: Cloud, Hybrid, and on-prem environments, and Identity, Zero Trust, and cybersecurity architecture
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as: NIST 800-53 and RMF (Risk Management Framework)
  • Develop technical artifacts including but not limited to architecture diagrams, technical design documents and technical content, such as white papers
  • Support capture and proposal efforts (RFP/RFI responses, solution narratives)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in supporting or leading technical solutioning for an Intelligence Community customer
  • Experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or enterprise architecture
  • Understanding of Cloud architectures (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS); Cybersecurity and Zero Trust principles; and Data integration and enterprise platforms
  • Experience navigating federal compliance and accreditation processes

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, etc.)
  • Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in classified environments
  • Experience working with or supporting large system integrators or federal prime contractors

Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in
    these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $179,300.00-$318,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
