We are seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support high-volume dishwasher manufacturing within the appliance industry. This role is responsible for leading capital equipment and manufacturing process projects that support new product introductions, cost reduction, safety, quality, and plant performance improvements.   • Lead capital equipment and tooling projects from concept through specification, supplier selection, design review, installation, qualification, and launch.
  • Develop and improve assembly and metal fabrication processes to support safety, quality, throughput, and labor efficiency goals.
  • Partner with product engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles are incorporated into product and process design.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, EHS, quality, and industrial engineering teams to implement robust, safe, and efficient manufacturing solutions.
  • Design manufacturing equipment and workstations with consideration for ergonomics, material flow, model mix, line balancing, standard work, and in-line quality.
  • Support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturing readiness, process capability, and successful integration into the production environment.
  • Work with automation and robotics engineers and external suppliers to develop cost-effective automation solutions.
  • Drive equipment reliability and process robustness to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including control plans, work instructions, and process standards.
  • Train operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership and clear program updates to cross-functional teams and plant leadership.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and support development of standard methodologies across manufacturing engineering activities.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experiencein manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing, process engineering, or equipment engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processes in a plant environment.
  • Experience leading capital equipment procurement, installation, qualification, and launch.
  • Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing environments with operations, maintenance, quality, sourcing, and engineering teams.
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to make decisions, take ownership, and drive complex projects to completion.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably in appliance, automotive, or consumer durable goods industries.
  • Experience supportingnew product introduction (NPI), product launches, or major manufacturing transitions.
  • Experience with assembly equipment, conveyance systems, and workstation design for high-volume operations.
  • Experience with automation, robotics, or semi-automated manufacturing systems.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication, assembly processes, material presentation, and factory layout development.
  • Familiarity withGD&T, DFMA, TPM, OEE, control plans, and process documentation.
  • Experience driving measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in large cross-functional teams and at multiple levels of the organization, including salaried employees and shop floor operators / skilled trades.
  • Prior experience with Creo or SolidWorks or equivalent tools.
