Job Title: Senior Advanced Software Engineer, Active Top Secret clearance

About the Opportunity:
  • Seeking an experienced Advanced Software Engineer to support secure enterprise and network environments for mission-critical operations. This role will be responsible for systems support, automation scripting, network administration, vulnerability remediation, and technical documentation within highly secure environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems across secure enterprise environments
    • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Perl and PowerShell scripts to automate system processes and improve operational efficiency
    • Manage and support Cisco firewalls, switches, DNS services, and enterprise network infrastructure
    • Perform vulnerability remediation activities, including Nessus scan analysis and resolution support
    • Create, update, and maintain technical systems, network, and process documentation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and IT teams to support system reliability, security, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
  • 8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, or network engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems in secure enterprise environments
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining Perl and PowerShell scripts
  • 3+ years of experience managing Cisco firewalls, switches, DNS, and enterprise network infrastructure
  • 2+ years of experience supporting vulnerability remediation and Nessus scan resolution activities
  • 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical systems and network documentation
  • OR Master's degree plus 6+ years of related experience
