Job Duties and Responsibilities
Join our Retention Strategy team as a Principal Strategy Analyst focused on driving customer loyalty and lifetime value for the SLING and DISH Video Services portfolio. In this role, you'll leverage advanced analytics, coordination of new data and insights, develop decision-driving financial models, and project manage through cross-functional collaboration to execute on strategies you develop. The daily objective will be to design and execute strategies that reduce churn, improve profitability, and elevate the customer experience. We're looking for a data-driven problem solver with strong business acumen and a passion for turning insights into impact.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Use data insights to evaluate trends, develop solutions, and execute initiatives that enhance customer loyalty in a dynamic and evolving content ecosystem
  • Build and maintain financial models to projects and evaluate business and project performance, inform strategic decisions, and maximize profitability in partnership with our finance teams
  • Lead key product initiatives, from concept through execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment with product teams to generate measurable results
  • Support the development and implementation of AI/ML-driven initiatives to identify churn risk, optimize spend, and enhance operational performance
  • Serve as an internal consultant to the business, synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations and deliver insights to senior leadership, including VPs and SVPs.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations to design and execute retention strategies that drive measurable impact
  • Use SQL, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Excel to build dynamic reports, extract insights from large datasets, and consult on data-driven business decisions

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):
  • Advanced in SQL, Tableau, and Excel for analytics and reporting
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and forecasting for business decision-making
  • Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or business-related field (required)
  • 8-12 years of experience in analytics, finance, or strategy, preferably in subscription-based or customer-focused industries

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
