Here's what you can expect as a Financial Analyst at DaVita:
DaVita is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) Finance Team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a highly strategic team supporting DaVita's Value Based Care leadership organization. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving financial visibility, supporting business growth initiatives, improving financial processes, and helping leaders make informed, data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, intellectually curious, and passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. This individual will contribute to financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business development modeling, reporting automation, and strategic initiatives that support the continued growth and profitability of the IKC business.
This position is based at DaVita's World Headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variance analyses against budget, forecast, and prior-period performance.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including model development, scenario analysis, guidance setting, and business partner support.
  • Partner with Accounting, operational leaders to monitor key financial metrics, contractual KPIs, delinquent balances, and monthly P&L adjustments.
  • Develop clear and concise financial reporting packages and presentations that communicate performance, risks, opportunities, and outlook to finance and business leadership.
  • Assist in ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making, operational initiatives, and business growth opportunities.

Data Analytics & Other Business Initiatives
  • Enhance the team's reporting and analytics capabilities through the development and maintenance of scalable reporting solutions utilizing Anaplan, Excel, and other analytical tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort across finance workflows.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools and Python-based automation, to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and accelerate insight generation.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions supporting financial planning, operational performance, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Contribute to the design, enhancement, and automation of financial models, data pipelines, and reporting processes that improve decision support capabilities across the organization.
