Job description

We are seeking aย Full-time Intake Psychotherapistย to join our growing team! As a Therapist, you'll work with a team of professionals in helping clients by completing comprehensive evaluations for children and adults with serious emotional disturbances, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders (SUD). As a therapist you are responsible for providing quality clinical services as a member of a team in consultation with other agency staff.

Responsibilities

  • Clinically assess client and family mental health needs by collecting, evaluating, and documenting information about the clientโ€™s situation, personal and family needs, and personal and family strengths.
  • Develop integrated treatment plans in cooperation with the client and other providers, establishing mutually agreed upon goals, expectations and services that build upon client centered strengths and assets.
  • Coordinate and make referrals for needed services in order that each client may function to the best of her/his ability.
  • Conduct psychological testing if licensed as a psychologist.
  • Perform individual, family and group therapy to assigned clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed for assigned cases and in support of other therapistโ€™s cases when they are not available.
  • Provide case and program consultation to other community caregivers as requested.
  • Provide education and in-service training to community caregivers and the general public.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master's in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.
  • Independent professional licensure in the State of MN (LP, LPCC, or LICSW) as appropriate to theย professional degree.
  • Clinical trainees pursuing independent licensure will be considered.
  • Clinical trainees need to meet the qualifications for Minnesota Statute definition of a Mental Health Practitioner
  • Two years of experience working in a multi-disciplinary mental health setting is desired.
  • Valid Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance.

Pay: $32.84 - $40.23 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
