Position Summary
The Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Department of Health Sciences, UNC School of Medicine, invites applications for a fixed term (non-tenure track) faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Instructor. This faculty appointee will provide audiology services at the UNC Hearing and Communication Center and engage in clinical precepting of graduate students in the Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program. The position is available at a 1.0 FTE.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
-Eligible candidates include individuals who have earned a doctoral degree in audiology (AuD), possess a minimum of 9 months post-degree clinical experience, and are eligible for North Carolina audiology licensure.
- Experience with adult diagnostics
- Experience with hearing aid selection/fitting for adult populations
- Experience with vestibular assessment
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- Experience as a clinical preceptor of AuD students
- Experience with tinnitus and hyperacusis evaluations
