Admissions Manager – Dragons Academy 

Local Candidates Only (Broward and Palm Beach County)  

Position Overview 

Dragons Academy is seeking a highly personable, organized, and results-driven Admissions Manager to lead the student admissions process and serve as a key point of connection between prospective families, students, and the Academy. 

The Admissions Manager will guide families through the enrollment journey, helping them understand the Academy’s educational approach, programs, and personalized learning experience. This role requires someone who can build trust with families, understand their individual needs, and effectively communicate how Dragons Academy can support each student’s academic and personal growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage the full admissions and enrollment process, from initial inquiry through student enrollment. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families and provide a welcoming, professional, and personalized experience. 

  • Conduct consultations, campus visits, virtual meetings, and admissions conversations with prospective families. 

  • Learn about each student’s academic background, goals, learning needs, interests, and family expectations. 

  • Clearly communicate the Academy’s educational philosophy, programs, one-to-one instruction, personalized learning approach, and student experience. 

  • Coordinate student assessments, interviews, records collection, and other admissions requirements. 

  • Partner closely with educators and school leadership to ensure prospective students are appropriately evaluated and supported. 

  • Maintain consistent and timely communication with families throughout the admissions process. Managing the Florida’s Step Up For Students program with new admissions.  

  • Manage and maintain the admissions pipeline, tracking inquiries, prospects, applications, enrollments, and follow-ups. 

  • Develop relationships with families, educational professionals, community organizations, and referral sources to generate qualified admissions opportunities. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve the admissions experience, conversion rates, and overall enrollment process. 

  • Prepare regular admissions and enrollment reports for Academy leadership. 

  • Ensure all admissions activities are handled professionally, accurately, and in accordance with Academy policies and applicable requirements. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 

  • 3+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment, sales, business development, education, customer success, or a related field. 

  • Prior experience with Florida’s Step Up For Students program, including managing the application, enrollment, funding, reimbursement, and compliance processes and ensuring funds are properly received and applied to student tuition and educational expenses. 

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. 

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management and follow-through skills. 

  • An agile and strategic thinker who can quickly assess situations, adapt to changing priorities, and identify practical solutions. Experience working with students and families strongly preferred. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. 

  • Strong ability to listen, understand family needs, and build trust. 

  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up and attention to detail. 

  • Comfortable managing multiple prospective families and admissions opportunities simultaneously. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Professional, warm, and service-oriented approach. 

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and growing educational environment. 

  • Experience with dashboards, admissions, enrollment, or student information systems is a plus.
