Job description

Position Highlights:

Supports one or more Director- level or above positions with complex administrative problems, prepares non-routine documents, reports, spreadsheets as requested, develops advanced presentation materials, coordinates special projects. The Administrative Coordinator remains knowledgeable about business unit policies or research budget variance depending on department assigned and follows up to resolve issues. Explains policy/procedures to other parties, collects, compiles and analyzes moderately complex to complex data. The Administrative Coordinator may assist in training or answering questions for Management Assistant and/or Office Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains all departmental functions in accordance with established departmental procedure checklist by performing various administrative support functions to the department.
  • Manages schedules, calendars and itineraries.
  • Prepares non-routine documents and reports/spreadsheets.
  • Develops advanced presentation materials.
  • Collects, compiles and analyzes moderately complex to complex data.
  • Interpret and explain policies/procedures.

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 3 years administrative support experience in healthcare, research and/or academic setting.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
