Job description

St. Francis Center is seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant / Administrator-in-Training AIT to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in long-term care administration while gaining hands-on experience in the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility.

Administrative Assistant Salary: $50,000/yr Based on experience

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
  • Assist the Administrator with day-to-day facility operations.

  • Gain hands-on experience across various departments as part of the AIT program.

  • Assist with administrative projects, reports, scheduling, and documentation.

  • Work closely with department heads to support facility operations and resident care.

  • Participate in meetings, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities.

  • Assist with resident and family concerns and help ensure timely follow-up.

  • Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Interest in pursuing a career as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Professional, dependable, and eager to learn.
