The CNA Certified role is centered in a small assisted living facility specializing in elderly care and patients with long-term chronic conditions. Reporting directly to the administrator, this position involves providing hands-on support in patient care within a close-knit, 8-bed environment where comprehensive assistance including hygiene, mobility, and medication support is essential. Additional responsibilities encompass facility upkeep such as cooking and cleaning, ensuring a safe and comfortable living space for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care with attention to elderly and chronic condition needs
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the administrator
  • Assist with personal hygiene and mobility to promote independence
  • Support medication management according to care plans
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness in a small assisted living setting
  • Participate in cooking and cleaning duties for the facility's upkeep
