Job description

Overview

i3 is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst who will serve as a key member of the Acquisition Management and Operations Division within the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Project Office. This role involves managing a wide range of projects, studies, and taskings, requiring strong technical and analytical expertise to evaluate and execute initiatives within the Operations Branch. The incumbent will play a critical role in supporting the planning, analysis, and implementation of project management office operations, ensuring organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as an Integrated Process Team (IPT) member or leader, collaborating with functional disciplines such as engineering, logistics, business management, and testing to support program reviews and milestones.
  • Identify project requirements, establish milestone schedules, and develop plans to coordinate and execute project activities.
  • Provides advice and assistance on property-related matters during acquisition planning, contract formation, and contract management.
  • Develop and refine processes and procedures to improve the flow of information and address bottlenecks within the organization.
  • Produces, monitors, and updates Operation Orders (OPORDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other documents required for Emergency and Contingency Operations.
  • Maintains and implements procedures to sustain current operations effectively.
  • Coordinates temporary relocation of personnel and equipment during renovations, furniture installations, or other activities.
  • Conducts meetings with project/design engineers and contractors to ensure smooth execution of facility-related projects.
  • Prepares analysis reports on the efficiency and outcomes of projects and initiatives.
  • Oversees and serves as the functional expert for the Enterprise Task Management System.
  • Reviews internal and external taskers, ensuring proper assignment and timely entry into the system.
  • Manages the planning and execution of organizational events, including town hall meetings, off-site visits, Changes of Charter ceremonies, conferences, and other key activities.
  • Ensure all events are organized effectively and meet organizational objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Business or a related technical field.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the mission, functions, and organizational structure of an Army/DOD project management office and its interrelationship with matrix organizations.
  • Knowledge of administrative concepts and practices to recommend policy changes, devise procedures, and address administrative challenges.
  • Proficiency in using PCs and software such as word processors, graphics tools, spreadsheets, database management systems, and communication devices (e.g., cell phones, pagers, handheld personal computers).
  • Ability to plan, conduct, and document studies, analyses, and reports, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Skill in evaluating and integrating the work of others into cohesive final products that accurately reflect the organization's position on management issues.
  • Ability to serve on or lead committees, meetings, workgroups, and process action teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with managers, peers, and subordinates.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines to support the execution of town halls, senior leader off-sites, Changes of Charter ceremonies, conferences, and other events.
  • Skill in preparing professional correspondence and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
