PCG is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to support the Risk & Insurance department located at our corporate headquarters in Lenexa, KS. Theย Administrative Assistant in the Risk & Insurance Department provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department. This role involves coordinating schedules and meetings, managing documentation, and assisting with claims management support functions.ย  ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Meeting Coordination:Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes during risk management meetings.ย 

  • Manage departmental calendars along with the Senior Manager, Risk & Insurance and Manager, Risk & Insurance Claims. ย ย 

  • Communication:Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications related to Risk & Insurance.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive claims information.ย 

  • Documentation Management:Maintain and organize physical and digital risk management documents, including renewal and policy data, claims information, and other records.ย 

  • Maintain internal web-based communication platforms (intranet, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.).ย 

  • Report Preparation:Assist in the preparation of risk assessment reports and training presentations.ย 

  • Claims Management Support: Assist Risk & Insurance team, Corporate and field operations with locating occupational medical clinics in our network to care for injured workers.ย ย ย 

  • Vendor Coordination:Liaise with insurance companies, brokers, claim administrators, and other vendors as needed.ย 

  • General Administrative Tasks:Perform general office duties such as filing, processing invoices and expense reports, photocopying, and ordering office supplies.

  • All other duties as assigned.ย 

ย Salary range:ย $45,600-$60,800ย annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor'sย degree preferred.ย 

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a construction or risk management setting.ย 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).ย 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.ย 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.ย 

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.ย 

  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlinesย
