Job description

Robert Half has partnered with a stable Wilmington Delaware client on their search for an Administrative Assistant who is detail oriented, tech savvy and possesses some accounting expertise. This highly organized Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative and accounting support to the office and team. This role will consist of maintaining and updating internal records, drafting and distributing internal and external communications, preparing meeting materials, creating event agendas, processing tax returns & notices, preparing outgoing packages, covering the reception area as needed, answering and routing incoming calls, and assisting other staff with administrative tasks. The ideal Administrative Assistant should have a technical aptitude for database systems, strong attention to detail and experience working in a professional services environment.


How you will make an impact

·      Organize, schedule, and confirm appointments/meetings

·      Track and analyze accounting data

·      Coordinate conference calls

·      Maintain and update client records within CRM systems

·      Calendar Management

·      Oversee office organization and inventory management

·      Draft internal/external correspondence

·      Serve as point of contact for client inquiries

·      Assist with special projects and general office support as needed

The ideal Administrative Assistant will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or similar but NOT required.


Other requirements for the Administrative Assistant role include and are not limited to:

·      1+ years of administrative experience

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel

·      CCH Axcess highly preferred

·      Strong organizational and time-management skills

·      Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
