Job description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Program Specialist!
What You Will Be Doing
Working as a Administrative Assistant/Program Specialist you will primarily provide support for the agency. You will be responsible for front desk duties, running reports, obtaining data collection, develop/maintain tracking mechanisms, including database administration and file administration for recordkeeping and information retrieval as directed. You will maintain the confidentiality of consumer and other information. You will also be utilizing multi-line phone system, greeting guests, which includes managing the telephone, sorting and distributing mail and faxes, and scanning. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support 1) culturally competent, recovery based practices, 2) person centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his or her own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals and 3) a trauma informed culture to aid consumers in their recovery process.

What We Require
High School diploma or GED and three years' experience in office or administrative assistant role, or a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field and one year experience in an office or administrative assistant role. Ability to support the confidential nature of developmental disability, mental health and substance abuse services. Excellent communications skills, interpersonal and human relation skills. Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, database management and e-mail.
