Receptionist - HR/Payroll Assistant - Administrative Support I- Pay Rate Based on Experience - 7:30-4:30

Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking to fill an administrative support position for its HR/Payroll/Safety department located in Huntsville, AL. The Administrative Support I position will help manage the reception area, assist in payroll processing, and perform various administrative tasks in North Alabama.
Candidates must be motivated, safety conscious individuals with good multi-tasking skills to help manage a variety of administrative related tasks. Must be able to perform duties in accordance with established procedures, requiring some judgement in the selection and interpretation of data. Must be able to maintain confidentiality with employee information. Must be willing to work flexible hours and possibly overtime while maintaining excellent attendance.
Starting wage is Negotiable Depending on Experience
Job Requirements:
  • Customer Service - greeting visitors, customers, employees, and potential new hires
  • Answering office phone calls
  • Assisting in support of Human Resources and Recruiting
  • Assist in performing various payroll functions while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Data Entry
  • Manage office supply orders, intercompany mail, and FedEx
  • Assist & trouble-shoot computer issues with applicants and employees utilizing computers to complete online tasks
  • Filing
  • General office administrative duties
  • May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to attending work every day
  • Highly dependable individual with strong verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
  • Possess problem solving/judgement skills
  • 1 year+ Office Administration experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Experience in Oracle applications a plus
