LCH is seeking a bilingual Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, human resources, office management, and board support services. This position serves as a key point of contact for staff, visitors, board members, donors, applicants, interns, and community partners while supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front desk, reception, and administrative support.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and organizational schedules.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow-up communications.
  • Support Board of Directors and committee activities, including meeting coordination and board portal management.
  • Maintain donor records, process donations, and prepare acknowledgment letters.
  • Assist with HR functions, including personnel records, onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee communications.
  • Support recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, phone screenings, and reference checks.
  • Coordinate internship program activities and relationships with educational institutions.
  • Assist with employee events, recognition programs, orientations, and special projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of administrative support experience required.
  • Experience supporting HR, executive leadership, healthcare, or nonprofit organizations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
