About the Opportunity


We are seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to join a small professional office in Reston, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit environment, can manage responsibilities independently, and wants to grow into a long-term position.

No previous law firm experience is required. We are looking for someone with strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills who is comfortable learning new processes and taking ownership of day-to-day office needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and office support
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
  • Greet visitors and provide professional front-office support
  • Organize, scan, file, and maintain documents and records
  • Prepare and format correspondence and other documents
  • Assist with scheduling, calendars, and appointment coordination
  • Enter and update information accurately in internal systems
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Maintain an organized and professional office environment
  • Assist with additional administrative projects and office needs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, office, customer service, or similar professional experience preferred
  • Law firm experience is not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and comfortable interacting with clients
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Dependable and able to manage responsibilities independently
  • Comfortable working in a small office and occasionally being the only employee on-site
