Flu vaccine required.RDCS Adult cert required. Multimodality preferred.Start date will be no less than 6 weeks after traveler's fingerprint cards are received at SEARHC in Juneau for processing. Upon acceptance, please have your traveler make an appt for fingerprints and get them in the mail within 2-3 days to avoid start date getting pushed back. The Radiologic Technologist - Adult ECHO must be able to demonstrate the knowledge andskills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients service on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient s needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit s/area/department s policies and procedures.+CULTURE/RELIGIOUS ASPECTSEmployee will work with patients/employees of all cultural and religious backgrounds.ETHICS AND COMPLIANCEEmployee performs within the prescribed limits of SEARHC Ethics and Compliance Program. Is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer or hospital hotline.CUSTOMER SERVICEAll employees must adhere to the Mission, Vision, and Key Values of SEARHC.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMust provide radiographic examination for diagnostic interpretation. Must exercise professional judgement in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection.Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas.Maintain patient records and files.Assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program.Pursue continuing education.Transfer patient to and from radiology.Perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor.Follow policies and procedures as set up by SEARHC Administration.Assist in general hygiene of department and self.Should be able to work well in situations of stress.Able and willing to perform other duties as assignedEducation, Certifications, and Licenses Required:High School Diploma or GEDCompletion of an ECHO training programCurrent RDCS (A)Certifications: RDCS (A)Minimum 2 year experience Additional Information:SEARHC only accepts traveler profile applications from travelers that live at least 50+ miles away from the facility address they are working at. Rate is all inclusive and SEARHC will not be providing housing or flights.
