- Provide directpatient care including examinations, perform essential office procedures, orderand interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe and administer medications, and makereferrals for ambulatory care patients.
- Respond tomedical emergencies in the facility.
- Complete timelyand appropriate documentation for medical care and services.
- Provide technical directions and consultationfor CHS nurses, medical assistants and other staff.
- Provideteaching/precepting opportunities for health care trainees if desired.
- Involvement incommittees and teams as appropriate.
- Possibility ofon-call duties with additional compensation.
