Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with shop floor experience to lead the creation and management of digital assembly work instructions using VKS software. The role involves working closely with production teams, capturing manufacturing processes, coordinating with offshore teams, and ensuring high-quality operator-friendly work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as onsite point of contact for digital work instruction projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on production priorities and schedules.
  • Develop, review, and approve digital assembly work instructions in VKS.
  • Capture shop floor processes through videos, photos, and observations.
  • Document tooling, quality checks, safety steps, and best practices.
  • Coordinate daily with offshore teams for instruction development.
  • Lead customer reviews, incorporate feedback, and obtain approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, templates, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in work instruction processes.

Required Skills:

  • Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering background.
  • Experience creating assembly work instructions in production environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of VKS or similar digital platforms.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience working with offshore/distributed teams.
  • Comfortable working on active manufacturing shop floors.
