RN - Nights - Addiction Recovery

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients. Supervising care treatment and services of patient care provided by LPNs, CNAs and other staff on assigned unit and shift. Developing, implementing, and evaluating an individual plan of care for each client. Assessment and re-assessment of patients. Communicating appropriate information with the interdisciplinary team. Reporting client concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner.

What You'll Do

• Assess clients' physical and behavioral health needs and develop individualized nursing care plans

• Monitor client status and document changes in condition or response to treatment

• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate controlled substance counts

• Carry out physician orders and communicate significant medical or detox-related changes

• Support safe medication self-administration using proper client identification procedures

• Complete admission and discharge processes accurately

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the treatment team to coordinate client care

• Educate clients and families on medications, side effects, and health conditions

• Maintain accurate documentation and provide shift reports to ensure continuity of care

• Assist with emergency services and ensure client safety at all times

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred

• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or addiction recovery settings preferred

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Licensure & Certifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact state

• Psychiatric Nursing certification preferred
