JOB TITLE: Ad Operations Specialist

Reports To: VP, Marketing


MAJOR PURPOSE:

The Ad Ops Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day trafficking and setup of media campaigns. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is capable of multitasking and managing multiple, complex campaigns simultaneously, ensuring that each element is properly tracked and delivered on schedule, and that placements, invoices and budgets are reconciled with the finance and accounting team. The Media Operations & Trafficking Specialist will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that ad delivery meets the specified requirements.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to receive all needed assets for campaign launches
  • Collect and maintain asset databases in collaboration with client partners
  • QA all materials ensuring that all placements and creative meet quality and technical specifications
  • Manage all creative specs/needs/timelines
  • Coordinate creative and traffic swaps, when needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise including discrepancies, creative policing and technical problems
  • Collaborate with and communicate to all stakeholders to ensure proper implementation and tracking of campaigns
  • Provide technical support and guidance regarding ad specifications
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in ad trafficking and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Assist with the creation and documentation of ad trafficking policies and procedures.
Requirements:

CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

  • Knowledge of digital and offline media channels and creative needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with external clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of experience in ad operations and trafficking.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
