This is not a remote position, this is an in house position in either our Tyler or Shreveport office. Please do not apply if you do not live in or are planning on moving to either area. 
MEDIA BUYER

We are looking for a data-driven and strategic Media Buyer to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns across all tradition and digital media channels. The ideal candidate has a strong background in audience research, a proven track record of negotiating favorable rates, and the analytical skills needed to turn performance data into actionable insights.
Reports to the Media Director.
Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution: Build, launch, and manage advertising campaigns across digital and/or traditional media platforms.
  • Negotiation & Purchasing: Negotiate pricing, ad placement, ad time slots, sponsorship, and added-value opportunities directly with media vendors and publishers to secure the best rates. 
  • Budget Management: Allocate budgets efficiently across different ad sets and platforms while tracking pacing to ensure spending stays on target. 
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor campaign metrics (KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CTR) and make monthly recommendations to improve ROI. Pursue make goods as needed to fulfill media plan metrics.
  • Market & Audience Research: Analyze market trends and consumer demographics to identify the most effective media channels for reaching our target audience.
  • Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with account service team to align on campaign goals and performance. 
  • Meetings: Participate, as needed, in client meetings to help sell, defend, and/or explain media campaigns and performance results. 
Requirements

·         Experience: 5 or more years of experience in media buying, media planning, or a similar performance marketing role.
·         Technical Skills: Proficiency with GaleForceMedia, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and programmatic buying platforms or willingness to learn.
·         Analytical Prowess: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify performance trends, and build calculated spreadsheets.
·         Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and multitasking abilities.
·         Financial Acumen: Comfort managing large advertising budgets and understanding the financial implications of media purchasing.
