Job Overview 

We are seeking detail-oriented Ad Operations Analysts to review and evaluate advertising campaign data and automated recommendations across AdTech and MarTech environments. 

In this role, you will analyse campaign performance, identify unusual patterns or anomalies, and evaluate budget recommendations using data, mathematical reasoning, and defined project guidelines. Your evaluations will provide high-quality human judgment that helps improve automated systems used to support advertising and marketing decisions. 

An ideal candidate has strong analytical and numerical skills and understands digital advertising campaigns, advertising technology, marketing technology, performance metrics, and budget management. You should be comfortable working with complex data and evaluating whether automated recommendations are reasonable based on the available information. 

Your work will help improve the accuracy, reliability, and financial quality of automated systems and support better outcomes for advertisers.

Responsibilities 

  • Review and evaluate advertising campaign data according to defined project guidelines.  
  • Identify unusual patterns, inconsistencies, or anomalies in campaign performance and related data.  
  • Review automated budget recommendations and assess whether they are reasonable based on the available data.  
  • Apply analytical and mathematical judgment when evaluating campaign data, performance trends, and budget recommendations.  
  • Evaluate information related to campaign performance, spend, efficiency, and advertiser outcomes.  
  • Review automated recommendations and system outputs used to support advertising and marketing decisions.  
  • Review complex or ambiguous cases and make informed decisions based on available data and project requirements.  
  • Classify, label, or annotate assigned data accurately and consistently.  
  • Provide human-reviewed evaluations to support the training and improvement of automated advertising and marketing systems.  
  • Document decisions and supporting reasoning clearly when required.  
  • Identify unclear or unusual cases and flag them according to defined project processes.  
  • Apply detailed project guidelines consistently across assigned tasks.  
  • Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.  

Required Qualifications 

  • Educational background or equivalent experience in Advertising, Digital Marketing, Ad Operations, AdTech, MarTech, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.  
  • Experience working with digital advertising campaigns, Ad Operations, AdTech, MarTech, marketing analytics, campaign performance, or a related area.  
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.  
  • Ability to interpret campaign and performance data and identify meaningful patterns, inconsistencies, or unusual results.  
  • Understanding of digital advertising performance metrics, campaign efficiency, and advertising or marketing workflows.  
  • Familiarity with advertising budgets, spend, and performance-based decision-making.  
  • Ability to evaluate automated recommendations or system outputs using available data and defined project guidelines.  
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make accurate and consistent decisions.  
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, data analysis tools, or related analytical platforms.  
  • Strong written English comprehension and documentation skills.  
  • Familiarity with advertising metrics such as ROAS, spend, conversions, campaign efficiency, and performance trends is preferred.
