Provides services to patients that are amenable to treatment with this modality. Documents care provided and communicates with referral sources and other treating providers as needed.
Key Position Details:
Position will include 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
  • Provides patient care.
    • Develops, implements and evaluates the patient plan of care based on individual needs including age specific and learning style needs.
    • Documents patient information and outcome specific care provided.
    • Educates patient and families as needed regarding treatment and follow through.
  • Facilitates collaborative relationships.
    • Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
    • Participates on quality improvement initiatives, research projects or other initiatives as needed.
    • Promotes the goals and vision of Acupuncture as requested.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Acupuncture or Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine required
  • 2 to 5 years in acupuncture required
  • 0 to 2 years in a hospital or medical clinic based environment preferred
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource
  • Minnesota Acupuncture License upon hire required
  • National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine upon hire required

Pay Range
Pay Range: $48.29 to $66.81 per hour

Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
