The Licensed Acupuncturist will work in a lively outpatient office situated in Jacksonville, Florida, known for its gentle coastal climate and friendly community atmosphere. This onsite role requires collaboration with a team of like-minded professionals dedicated to improving health outcomes. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured schedule that enhances work-life balance.

• Administer acupuncture treatments utilizing needles, cups, ear balls, seeds, and pellets, while also recommending nutritional supplements based on patients’ needs.
• Educate patients on effective lifestyle changes, including nutrition, mindfulness practices, meditation, and stress management techniques that complement their treatment strategy.
• Monitor and apply heat or cold therapy using various materials such as heat pads, hydro collator packs, and cold compresses to enhance patient recovery.
• Conduct thorough assessments by analyzing medical histories and physical findings, diagnosing conditions as per Oriental medicine principles, and devising individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals within a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure comprehensive patient care and well-rounded treatment outcomes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment strategies implemented and modify approaches as necessary to optimize patient experience and health restoration.

• U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position, in line with federal hiring regulations.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory; preferred candidates will hold a Master's degree in acupuncture or oriental medicine from an ACAOM-accredited institution.
• Full, active, and unrestricted state licensure to practice acupuncture in Florida, along with current board certification through the NCCAOM.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential for effective patient communication and education.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose, and develop treatment plans independently.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing acupuncturist, ideally in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population and familiarity with various acupuncture techniques and holistic healing practices.
• Prior experience in patient education, particularly in relation to lifestyle modifications and the integration of mind-body approaches.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $66,757 to $104,996 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
