DESCRIPTION

RegalCare at Worcester is seeking a friendly and energetic Activity Assistant for a full-time position, working 9:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM with every other weekend required. This role supports the Activities Department in providing engaging and meaningful programs that enhance residentsโ€™ quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and implementing daily activity programs

  • Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities

  • Help set up and clean up activity areas

  • Escort residents to and from activities as needed

  • Support special events, holiday programs, and weekend activities

  • Maintain a positive, respectful environment for residents

  • Follow facility policies and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Experience in long-term care or activities preferred, but not required

  • Outgoing, patient, and compassionate personality

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable attendance, including every other weekend
