Job Title:Senior Business Analyst- Oracle & Finance SystemsRequisition ID:R026744Job Description:

About the Role

Activision Blizzard is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance Engineering team. This role will partner with Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Technology teams to deliver business and technology solutions across Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) Financials and integrated Finance applications.

The successful candidate will lead business analysis activities across Finance transformation, regulatory, operational improvement, and system enhancement initiatives. While Oracle EBS R12 Financials is the primary platform, the role will also support solutions related to the integrated non-Oracle applications and third-party Finance systems.

This position is open to remote candidates within the US.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will demonstrate the following skills consistently at a high level:

  • Lead engagement with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business processes, and system challenges - translating them into scalable IT-enabled solutions across the Finance systems landscape
  • Independently drive end-to-end business analysis activities across initiatives, including requirement gathering, analysis, documentation of clear system requirements for delivery by IT teams, validation, prioritization, and traceability across complex initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor and one of the key interfaces between Business and IT - ensuring clarity of requirements, strong documentation, alignment of expectations, and informed decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Own the design, testing, and rollout of system solutions across Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) and custom-developed/bespoke solutions, applying functional expertise across Finance modules (such as AP, AR, GL, and Cash Management) to ensure solutions align with business processes and control requirements
  • Own the successful delivery of system enhancements and initiatives, proactively managing scope, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Lead and coordinate activities within the IT Global Quarterly Release process, ensuring readiness, quality validation, impact assessment, and smooth deployment of enhancements
  • Evaluate alternative solution designs and re-engineered processes, providing recommendations based on solution feasibility, operational effectiveness, financial controls, and long-term scalability
  • Identify and drive process optimization and standardization opportunities across Finance systems and workflows
  • Ensure SOX and governance compliance by ensuring all system changes adhere to defined governance, documentation, and approval processes
  • Partner with offshore delivery and support teams to ensure high service quality, effective issue resolution, and continuous operational stability
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices in requirements management and stakeholder engagement

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years as a Senior Business Analyst, with significant experience leading Oracle Finance implementations, enhancements, or transformation initiatives
  • Strong hands-on functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Financial Modules - including Purchasing, iProcurement, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, and General Ledger. Oracle Finance experience is essential; applications without this will not be progressed
  • Strong understanding of Finance Business Processes like Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), with demonstrable experience in analyzing processes and recommending practical improvements
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, large-scale, cross-functional, multi-regional Finance IT initiatives, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across Business, IT, and external teams
  • Strong experience driving end-to-end requirements lifecycle management, including requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, validation, and translating requirements into clear system specifications
  • Ability to translate Finance process requirements into Oracle ERP functional behavior, including understanding upstream/downstream process impact across Finance modules
  • Experience leading UAT planning, validation strategies, and release readiness activities
  • Proven experience delivering and supporting integrations between Oracle Financial modules and third-party systems
  • Ability to assess system designs, challenge assumptions, and provide structured recommendations balancing business and technical considerations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements in Finance systems or processes (e.g., process efficiency, control improvements, automation, reporting accuracy, or user experience)
  • Experience of operating within SOX-controlled or regulated environments, with strong governance discipline
  • Experience working effectively with offshore or near-shore delivery and support teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate and document complex Finance and system concepts clearly for diverse audiences
