Job description

General Purpose of Jobย 

Oversee all facility functions regarding training program services including day to day operations, program development, regulatory compliance and staff development.ย 

Essential Functions and Responsibilitiesย 

  • Supervise daily operations of programs to ensure appropriateness, effectiveness and variety in trainings/activities to meet the goals outlined in individual participantโ€™s IPPs.ย 
  • Provide direct supervision/support to facility management, including but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, positive direction and updates to organizational, state and federal guidelines.ย 
  • Ensure compliance of all supervised areas as it relates to the funding, licensing agents, local, state and federal guidelines. ย 
  • Develop and oversee annual programmatic budget and monitor program fiscal responsibility through variance reports, census monitoring, quarterly attendance reviews, bad debt management, service authorization monitoring and client ratio analysis. ย 
  • Ensure high-quality programming for all recreational and meaningful day activities, skill training and community outings.ย 
  • Monitor operational goals and objectives to support the vision, mission and strategic plan.ย 
  • Plans and executes monthly staff meetings and training.ย 
  • Monitors & reviews monthly required documentation including SP notes, SP goals, incident reports and any grant obligations.ย 
  • Partner with other departments within the organization to implement and improve operational policies and procedures.ย 
  • Implement corrective actions plans to solve organizational or department problems.ย 
  • Act as a liaison with community service providers, families, and funding sources to advocate for individuals served.ย 
  • Maintain a professional and personal demeanor with internal and external customers and members of the public which promotes positive good will toward Quest and persons served.ย 
  • Utilize the Learning Management System to monitor and track employee training requirements, ensuring all mandatory courses are completed in a timely manner. ย 
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, generate reports, and provide support to staff in navigating the LMS platform.ย 
  • Report all incidents of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the Abuse Hotline (1-800-96-ABUSE). ย ย 
  • Follow all emergency procedures during a drill or in an actual emergency.ย 
  • Report to work during inclement weather to ensure adequate supervision and care of all individuals in the home. ย This may include sheltering in place during a hurricane.ย 
  • Keep individuals safe, treat them with compassion and respect, and help them strive for excellence, reach their goals, and achieve the highest level of independence.ย 
  • Attend, participate and/or conduct all required training and monthly staff meetings.ย 
  • Follow all Quest policies and procedures. ย 
  • Employees are required to report serious issues to the employee hotline or to a Quest leader under the See Something Say Something policy.ย 
  • Management reserves the right to revise the job or to request that other or different tasks be performed as assigned.ย 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirementsย 

  • Associateโ€™s degree from an accredited college or university.ย 
  • Two years, verifiable experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities or related experience.ย 
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience and operational management preferred.ย 
  • Valid Florida Driverโ€™s License at all times.ย
