We are seeking a qualified Senior Program Manager in Arlington, VA . This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work situations. This is a 100% on-site, in-office position.

Position Description:

The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Senior Program Manager for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and management for missile program engineering, acquisition, and logistics activities, ensuring successful accomplishment of tasking and budget execution
  • Managing the activities of the Decision Tech team, including multiple subcontractors, to meet the mission and objectives of the customerโ€™s missile and weapons programs
  • Provide adequate recruitment and staffing to meet customer and contract requirements. Management of subcontractor tasking, funding, coordination, and execution
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer status reporting
  • Provide management of the contract financial team to develop budgets and manage financial execution
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly corporate financial reviews and program status reviews
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and respond to new customer requirements
  • Establish and satisfy short- and long-term contract goals
  • Support contract capture and growth as the lead Program Manager for our Weapons business area
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a Technical or Business discipline
  • 30 years' total experience in Navy weapon or combat systems engineering or acquisition
  • At least 15 years as a Program Manager of a government engineering or acquisition program
  • DAWIA Level II, PMP, or equivalent Program Management certification
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with program management, contracts, acquisition, engineering development, testing, analysis, fielding, and logistics support for specific Navy terminal defense systems such as RAM and CIWS.
  • Experience managing complex combat system development and acquisition programs
  • Experience briefing senior leaders on program plans and status
  • Experience managing large $50M+ contracts with high-levels of customer exposure and intensive customer/corporate engagement
  • Knowledge of FMS and international programs and experience with international customers
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations
Travel Requirements:
  • Limited travel requirements (<10%)
