Location: Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles (Santa Monica), New York, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle

Direct Counsel is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to join a top Am Law 50 firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated M&A transactions within a highly regarded corporate practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Management – Lead and support M&A transactions, from due diligence to closing.
  • Drafting & Negotiation – Prepare and negotiate definitive and ancillary agreements.
  • Client & Deal Management – Oversee deal process, coordinate with clients, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Supervision – Mentor and supervise junior associates on transactional matters.
Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of M&A experience at a top law firm.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
