What you'll be doing at Autism Care Partners:


ACP Early Intervention provides state of the art services to children with developmental delays and disabilities. An industry leader in both the evaluation and treatment of children on the autism spectrum, ACP Early Intervention seeks to help each child reach his or her full potential. Our multi-modal program incorporates both directive and naturalistic teaching methods tailored to the specific needs of each client and family.


ACP Early Intervention is currently seeking Special Education Teachers, LMSW and LCSW to provide evidence-based, behavioral therapy to children on the autistic spectrum from ages 0-3 yrs. These services take place in the home or daycare.

  • Provide in-home-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
  • ABA training/experience a plus (training available if no experience).
  • Use behavior management techniques to help children develop social and life skills.
  • Support child's social, emotional, and behavioral health
  • Provide parents/caregiver with techniques on topics such as learning styles and behavior modification techniques
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs used

Qualifications:


Special Education Teacher

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or Early Childhood Education - Students with Disabilities
  • Initial/Professional certificate in Early Childhood Education - Student with Disabilities (Birth - 2nd Grade), or Special Education Permanent Certificate
  • Ability to work with children between the ages of 0-3
  • Comfortable communicating with family or caregivers of children
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends, based on child and family needs.
  • Candidates must possess the necessary education, license and/or certification to provide early intervention services or will not be considered

LMSW/LCSW

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Valid New York State (LMSW) or (LSCW) license and registration required
  • One year of experience preferred
  • Ability to work closely with children between the ages of 0-3
  • Comfortable communicating with family or caregivers of children
  • Candidates must possess the necessary license, registration or certification to provide early intervention services.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking candidates encouraged to apply

Additional Requirements:

  • No prior criminal history
  • Ability to utilize technology
  • Basic computer skills- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Windows
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
