Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Primarily 8am-4pm - based on operational needs; flexibility to work days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Position Summary
Blue Line Security Solutions is seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a client location in Westmont, Illinois. The Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance, maintaining a safe and secure environment, providing leadership to on-site security personnel, and serving as the primary point of contact between the client and Blue Line Security Solutions management.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and is capable of making sound decisions in both routine and emergency situations while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and oversee the daily activities of assigned security personnel.
  • Ensure all officers comply with company policies, post orders, client expectations, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property to identify security risks, safety hazards, or policy violations.
  • Monitor security systems, cameras, alarms, and access control systems, responding appropriately to incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between the client, security officers, and management.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance while coordinating with law enforcement, fire, or emergency medical personnel when necessary.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, shift logs, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Train, mentor, and support security officers to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational updates, policy changes, and client expectations to staff.
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and maintaining adequate shift coverage.
  • Promote excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect client assets at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

  • Working knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and public safety practices.
  • Illinois 40/48-Hour Armed Security Training Certificate.
  • Valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) required.
  • Military or law enforcement experience is required. Applicants must be willing to provide documentation verifying their service or employment as part of the pre-employment screening process.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education in criminal justice, public safety, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
