Essential Duties
  • Assist in the planning and organization of MUW Alumni Association (MUWAA) fundraising auctions, including acquiring auction items, coordinating logistics, and managing event materials.
  • Conduct research to identify potential donors, sponsors, and auction items to enhance event offerings.
  • Collaborate with the MUW Office of Development and Alumni team, and the MUWAA Special Events Committee to create promotional materials for auctions, including social media content, and email campaigns.
  • Support the development of auction catalogs and item descriptions, ensuring accuracy and appeal to potential bidders.
  • Assist during auction events by managing auction items, facilitating bidder inquiries, and supporting the MUW Special Events Committee as needed
  • Aid in post-event activities, including donor acknowledgments, data entry, shipping items, and event evaluation.
  • May include some auction wrap up responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in donor communications and event materials.
  • Maintain professionalism, adhering to MUW policies and ethical standard while upholding confidentiality to ensure the protection and security of sensitive donor information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with fundraising software, social media content creation, graphic design, or databases is a plus.
