An Acoustical Ceiling job involves installing ceiling tiles, panels, and grid systems designed to improve sound control and aesthetics in commercial and residential buildings. Workers measure, cut, and fit materials to create suspended ceilings that absorb noise and hide structural elements like wiring and ductwork. This job requires knowledge of construction techniques, blueprint reading, and sometimes scaffolding or lift operation. Skilled acoustical ceiling installers are commonly employed in offices, schools, hospitals, and other spaces needing sound regulation.
