Job description

A growing specialty contracting company in the Raleigh, NC area is seeking an experienced Acoustical Ceiling Installer to join their team.
Acoustical Ceiling Installer Responsibilities
- Install acoustical grid systems and ceiling tiles on commercial job sites
- Measure and cut tiles and grid components to match project specifications
- Work with a variety of materials including mineral fiber, fiberglass, and metal tile systems
- Read blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate layout and fit
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with grid systems and ceiling installations
- Perform inspections and maintenance on existing ceiling systems
- Work efficiently from scaffolding and/or stilts as needed
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Keep clear records of completed installation and maintenance work
Acoustical Grid and Tile Mechanic Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of commercial ceiling installation experience, preferably acoustical ceiling materials
- Working knowledge of the materials, tools, and methods used in grid and tile installation
- Comfortable reading blueprints, layouts, and technical specifications
