What you will do:
The ACH File Processor is a member of a team composed of experienced ACH professionals who contribute their knowledge and ACH file processing experience to provide outstanding service to our members. ACH File Processors are detailed oriented individuals that have a track record of achieving departmental and institutional goals. The ACH File Processors is responsible for analyzing, and reconciling daily ACH returns and payments in accordance with Nacha and Federal guidelines
The ACH File Processor adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.
A day in your life might include:
Process multiple incoming daily Federal Reserve ACH return files in accordance with Nacha governing regulations
Prepare and send daily completed ACH files to partner Accounting/Recon teams.
Research and respond daily to ACH return file member escalations.
Perform Federal Reserve/ EPN ACH adjustments and assists Recon/Accounting teams with balancing and settlement.
Partner with other internal departments to research and resolve ACH processing issues.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
Perform ACH testing of new products of systems.
Attend three NACHA training webinars annually.
Assist with ACH dispute, stop payment, EFT and ACH research as needed.
Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.
Education Requirements
High School Degree or Equivalent Required
At least 1 year of ACH file processing work experience required.
AAP certified professional, preferred.
Knowledge of Reg E and NACHA Regulations, preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
Problem resolution experience.
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to prioritize workload commitments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education.

  • The full hourly range for this Grade is $21.35 $32.02; however, the hourly range for this specific position is $21.35 - $26.50, dependent on skills and experience level.
