Job description

Role Responsibilities
The Senior Manager of Product Operations, US Digital Banking will play a leadership role in shaping and executing the product and risk operations strategy for our U.S. digital banking products. This leader will play an instrumental role in driving operational efficiency, scalability and reliability of our digital wallet, debit card, prepaid card and core banking platform. The Senior Manager will ensure superior customer experience, robust risk controls, prudent fraud management, and forward-looking enhancements for digital banking-related features and services. The position places a particular emphasis on supporting both digital and retail channels to deliver secure, compliant, and innovative experiences for our U.S. based consumer customers with global payment and banking needs.
Product Operations
  • Develop business requirements and partner with product teams to develop and implement product requirements that comply with and influence internal policies and procedures
  • Drive product improvements that ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Act as the product operational subject matter expert for account origination, account lifecycle management, payments, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation. Manage internal and external product operations, ensuring seamless integration and performance across multiple channels.
  • Define and create the requirements for comprehensive fraud prevention and risk management strategies tailored to our payments and core account services, including limit and velocity management and working in collaboration with our internal partners and teams to implement those requirements.
  • Ensure all products and operations are compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, NACHA, PCI DSS) and industry standards. Act as a point of escalation for investigations of customer behavior, risk findings and partner with Legal and Compliance teams to execute periodic risk assessments requested by external partners.

Product Enhancement and Innovation Planning
  • Identify opportunities for product, platform, and operational enhancements that align with evolving customer needs and market trends. Champion product automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance the speed and accuracy of operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to define requirements for new features, process improvements, and technological upgrades.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, proactively anticipating operational risks and ensuring solutions are scalable and future-proof.
  • Work with partner banks, fintechs, and third-party vendors to ensure operational standards and SLAs are met consistently.

Role Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in banking operations, payments, core account services, or financial services product operations, with team management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S.-based banking products, card issuing and digital wallets.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. payment systems (ACH, wires, RTP, card networks), banking and financial services regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in risk management, operational controls, fraud prevention, and incident response.
  • Strong technical acumen, with a solid understanding of core banking platforms, APIs, digital wallets, and embedded finance ecosystems.
  • Track record of leading operational improvement projects and successful product launches.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience using data to drive operational outcomes.

Work Shift

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $180,000 - $196,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
