Accounts Payable Manager (Contract-to-Hire)
Near Akron, OH
Up to $50/hour
LHH is partnering with a growing organization near Akron, Ohio to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. This immediate-start, contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in accounts payable leadership, vendor management, process improvement, and month-end accounting support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage daily AP operations while driving efficiency and accuracy across the department.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process
  • Manage and mentor accounts payable staff
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and vendor payments
  • Review and approve invoice coding and payment batches
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and controls
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams on special projects and reporting
Qualifications
