Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Onsite-Napa, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time, non exempt


About the Role:

We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to build a strong foundation in accounting while working alongside experienced professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules
  • Help maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment runs
  • Support the team during audits by gathering requested documentation


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent progress toward one)
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships apply)
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or NetSuite) is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $27.00-$31.00/Hour
  • One remote workday per week may be available after the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, subject to business needs and manager approval.
