Position Summary The Account Director is responsible for the development of ongoing business relationships from the onboarding stage through existing account management. The Account Director leads and manages a large piece or book of business and client engagements. The position is responsible for the overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of the agencyโ€™s services.


Primary Focus Overall health and growth of assigned client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and expand strategic relationships beyond day-to-day client contacts, including procurement, director-level stakeholders, adjacent business units, and former client partners.


Provide oversight and strategic direction for major opportunities, proposals, and initiatives within the assigned book of business.


Own individual client P&L performance and contribute to overall group P&L, ensuring alignment with profitability targets.


Lead assigned accounts in partnership with the Creative Director, ensuring alignment on relationship and business objectives, prioritization of work, and effective resource allocation.


Drive the development and execution of organic growth plans, including management of action plans, revenue targets, and progress accountability.


Serve as the escalation point for internal and client-side concerns, ensuring timely issue resolution and risk mitigation.


Define and implement KPI measurement strategies with clients; lead Quarterly Business Reviews and similar frameworks to assess performance, deliver insights, and guide program optimization.


Support cross-functional teams on key projects and new business opportunities as needed.
