Arona Home Essentials is seeking a Full Time, Accounting Clerk for its home office located in West Des Moines, Iowa. This position reports to the Director of Accounting. Arona thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced, can-do environment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team.

The Accounting Clerk will play a key role in supporting our daily financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and eager to grow in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes accounts payable transactions.
  • Manages invoices, statements, and document discrepancy with vendors.
  • Collects vendor information for new vendor setup or existing vendor updates.

  • Assists with general ledger preparation and monthly journal entries.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in accounting or two (2) years of accounting experience

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
