We are seeking Accounting Students, for our BC Region district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for 4-12 months starting in January 2027. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Accounting Manager.

Here's how an Accounting Student for PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. within BC Region contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Inter-company invoicing.
  • Courier and phone costing.
  • Running and updating reports.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Fielding telephone calls, filing, and data entry, typing of various correspondence and formatting of documents.
  • Filling in for office receptionist as required (multi-line switchboard with paging system).
  • Assisting with board meeting preparation (i.e. coordination of information, preparing tabs, distribution of board material, room setup, and beverage/food setup).
  • Assisting with overflow work from other administrative staff.
Qualifications
  • Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, and spreadsheet applications
  • Must be proficient on the computer and have intermediate skills in MS software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and energetic.

Pay Range: $20.14-$24.70

PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
