Position Summary:

We're looking for an Accounting Manager who can turn a good accounting function into a great one. This role sits between strategy and execution—owning day-to-day accounting operations while driving consistency, accuracy, and process improvement.

You'll work closely with the Controller to scale systems and processes, while directly managing the Staff Accountant to ensure the work actually gets done (and done right).

If you're the kind of person who notices what's broken—and quietly fixes it before anyone else sees—it'll be a good fit.

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential
Location - Greenwood Village, CO. 4 days in office, 1 day remote

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Own and manage key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial outputs prepared by the Staff Accountant
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness across GL, AP/AR, and supporting schedules
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and support GAAP compliance
  • Partner with the Controller on audit preparation, reporting, and technical accounting areas
  • Act as a key liaison between accounting and cross-functional teams
  • Support cash flow visibility and working capital management (AR follow-ups, AP timing, etc.)
  • Mentor and develop the Staff Accountant—this is not a "set it and forget it" situation
  • Assist with system enhancements, ERP optimization, and automation initiatives

What You Will Bring to EverDriven:

  • 4–7+ years of accounting experience (public accounting a plus, but not required)
  • Strong foundation in general ledger accounting and month-end close
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience reviewing work and providing guidance to more junior team members
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment (translation: things will change)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • High attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and push work forward without constant direction

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance
  • Virtual Doctor Visits with $0 Co-Pay
  • Life Insurance (company paid)
  • Short Term Disability Insurance (company paid)
  • Long-Term Disability Insurance (company paid)
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO)
  • Paid Holidays
  • Paid Time to Volunteer
  • Flex Spending Account (FSA)
  • 401K Plan (with an awesome employer match!)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee Discounts Program
